Option 1: Herbal Remedies Without the Overwhelm Class — $25

Herbs can be incredibly useful, but knowing where to start can feel confusing. Which herb do you choose? Should you use it as a tea, tincture, capsule, topical, or culinary herb? And how do you know what actually belongs in your home wellness routine?

In this clear, beginner-friendly class at Melanie's Health & Nutrition, we’ll make herbs feel simple, practical, and easier to understand. You’ll learn how common herbs are used, what different forms are best suited for, and how to begin choosing herbs with more confidence.

We’ll cover gentle everyday herbs such as nettle, marshmallow, ginger, lemongrass, peppermint, chamomile, and raspberry leaf, along with basic herb categories like calming herbs, digestive herbs, nutritive herbs, soothing herbs, warming herbs, and women’s wellness herbs.

At the end of class, you’ll visit our DIY tea station and create your own small take-home herbal tea blend using featured herbs from the class.

Option 2: Guided Herb Walk — $25

Ever wonder what useful plants are growing right under your feet?

Join three Master Herbalists, Melanie, Shannon, and Jessica, for a guided Saturday morning herb walk in beautiful South Willow Canyon. As we walk the trail together, you’ll learn how to recognize common local plants such as plantain, dandelion, stinging nettle, and more, while discovering how these herbs have traditionally been used to support everyday wellness.

With three herbalists leading the walk, you’ll get the benefit of different perspectives, practical tips, and plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way. This is a chance to slow down, enjoy the canyon, and begin seeing the plants around you with new eyes.

This walk is beginner-friendly, but it is a moderate hike, so please come prepared with sturdy walking shoes, water, sun protection, and anything else you need to feel comfortable outdoors.

This event is perfect for anyone who wants to feel more confident in identifying useful plants growing close to home.

Option 3: Bundle Both Events — $40
