Dandelion Lip Balm is a soothing, flavor-free lip balm to nourish your lips. Dandelions are more than pesky weeds in your yard. They are high in vitamins and minerals, specifically vitamin C, which is an antioxidant that promotes healthy, young skin. Because dandelions are valuable in so many ways, we took our beautiful patch of homegrown dandelions and made Dandelion Lip Balm.

In addition, we’ve included homegrown plantain, another great herb for dry skin. It is known to soothe and calm the skin.

This is an unscented lip balm, something our customers have asked for and loved.

The dandelions and plantain are infused into olive oil which is then used as a main ingredient in the Dandelion Lip Balm. Olive oil is a great way to nourish your skin. Shea butter is added as a deep moisturizer that strengthens the skin and fights wrinkles. Coconut oil increases elasticity as it moisturizes. Locally grown beeswax helps protect skin and inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungus.

We always avoid using petroleum-based ingredients because we feel that your lips deserve the best moisture and protection from chapping. We add no artificial dyes, but only rich ingredients that arrive in a .15 oz. tube ready to nourish your lips with goodness.

About Us

Melanie’s Health & Nutrition really began with Auminay Naturals which was formerly SkinTastic Creations. This product line took root over twenty years ago as Melanie faced cancer. After becoming aware of alternative therapies she worked to change to a healthier lifestyle and learn about herbs. She developed what is now the Auminay Naturals product line by eventually learning to infuse these herbs into products that used natural ingredients to provide skin care products for a healthier lifestyle. In 2017, as a newly certified Master Herbalist, Melanie opened Melanie’s Health & Nutrition to provide a resource for the Tooele community. The Auminay products are now made in the back section of the store. Melanie and her staff love to serve the community and provide opportunities for learning, as well as products that empower people to be healthier.
